Broadway Loses a Legend

Brassy and sassy, Elaine Stritch was a true Broadway legend. Her career spanned and incredible 65+ years, earning her Tony nominations and awards.

She passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

Interesting tidbit: she was the original Trixie Norton in the early “Honeymooners” skits with Jackie Gleason.

Check out this performance at the White House from 2012.

And in a salute to her comedic talents, check out this fun parody commercial for the Elaine Stritch Alarm Clock.
