April 26 - Isthmus Green Day 2014

what: Play giant Jenga with the Mix 105.1 street team at the Isthmus’ Green Day, a free community event on Saturday, April 26 at Monona Terrace.

Recycling... Driving hybrids... Riding bikes... Dining local... Conserving energy at home and at work...

Going green is more important than ever

Isthmus Green Day attracts thousands of visitors, an audience of active, interested and influential people. This is an excellent occasion to introduce your business, share your viewpoint, and market your merchandise to like-minded folk.

April 27 - PurpleStride Madison 2014

when: April 27th, 5:00pm
where: Warner Park (2930 N. Sherman Ave. , Madison , WI 53704)
PurpleStride Madison is a family-friendly 5K run and 2-mile walk around the picturesque Warner Park. It is an event that unites the community by raising awareness and support for the fight against pancreatic cancer. The run/walk will take participants on a journey filled with hope and inspiration starting and ending at the Duck Pond. There will be children's activities, entertainment, refreshments and more. There is something for everyone. PurpleStride Madison is sponsored in part by First Weber Group.

May 3 - Shred Fest

56% of identity theft victims traced the theft to something that was stolen from their own possession. So here’s the first rule: If you don’t need it, destroy it! The BBB is here to help.
Bring up to 3 paper bags of documents (up to 50 lbs) and we’ll shred it for you - on the spot, for free! What should be shredded? Old checks, junk mail, bank and credit card statements, old tax returns and receipts, among many other things. May 9 - Isthmus a la Carts 2014

what: The wildly popular Isthmus a la Carts, a celebration of the Madison-area street food scene, once again pulls up in Olin Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Monona, Friday May 9, 2014.

Come hungry! Isthmus is lining up some of Madison's finest food carts and your ticket gets you in the gate to try sample-size portions of all these fabulous local flavors.

The dinner bell rings at 4 p.m., rain or shine, and the music and refreshments stop promptly at 8. Leave work early! This is a delicious way to kick off a great spring weekend and taste all that Madison's awesome food carts have to offer.

Tickets are $20 in advance — and last year this event sold out early! Tickets are only available online and they are going fast!
